Euro Scriptchat guests Kristi Barnett and Robert Pratten discuss TRANSMEDIA, Sunday 10th July 2011

Who's following Karen Barley on Twitter? If you are, you may have an idea of what to expect on Sunday.

If you're not, Robert Pratten and Kristi Barnett will be shedding light on their transmedia project as Euro #Scriptchat's next guests on Sunday 10th July, 2011: 8pm BST.

We'll be able to find out what they're up to and if you're considering exploring the world of transmedia, you can ask about their experiences and the issues they've come across. Transmedia is still very new territory so this is your chance to ask a couple of practioners.

So who are the guests?

Robert Pratten is CEO and Founder of Transmedia Storyteller, an audience engagement company and provider of Conducttr, an interactive marketing and storytelling platform.  He has more than 20 years experience as an international marketing consultant and has established himself as a thought-leader in the field of transmedia storytelling through major contributions to the evolving field in the areas of audience engagement, content strategy and new business models. Prior to being a Transmedia Storyteller Robert wrote and directed a couple of feature films, London Voodoo (2004) and Mindflesh (2008) - http://www.londonvoodoo.com/ and http://www.mind-flesh.com/.


Kristi Barnett is a New Zealand born writer and filmmaker living in London. 
Having trained at South Seas Film and Television School in NZ, she has spent the last 10 years in creative mediums as a Television Camera operator, Sound and Transmission controller, Floor Manager and Vision Mixer/Director.  Her passion for films and writing combined and she has devoted the last 3 years to building a writing career including feature screenplays, shorts and TV scripts.  She has won awards for the Best Screenplay at the British Horror Film Festival with Unseen and Best Comedy Short Screenplay at L.A Comedy Shorts Festival with CuckoO.  Kristi is also a mentee and finalist in the prestigious Red Planet Prize with her gritty one room drama, The Board.  This year has seen her first piece of writing filmed by a Director, for Virgin Media Shorts, called Superhero’s Anonymous and she has recently written, produced and directed her first project; a transmedia story called Hurst (aka @KarenBarley) which is running on twitter right now till July 16th.  It’s an innovative multi-media event being tweeted out as live by the character Karen Barley using videos, photos, audio and links.  You can see the BBC news report here:  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-13993875
